Jennifer M. Johnson
Jennifer M. Johnson
is Associate Dean of Student Success in the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University. As associate professor of higher education, she is an active scholar-practitioner in the fields of college access and student retention. A former Philadelphia middle school teacher with a background in science and mathematics, she spent several years working as a counselor and advisor for college access and success programs. Her research interests include pre-college access programs, HBCUs, students in STEM programs, and high-achieving students of color. Dr. Johnson earned her PhD in Higher Education from the University of Maryland.
