Jennifer G. Beasley

Jennifer Beasley has more than 25 years of experience in education as an elementary school teacher, gifted facilitator, and university professor. After receiving an M.A. in Education Administration and Gifted Education, Jennifer completed her doctoral work in Educational Psychology at the University of Virginia. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Arkansas and works preparing preservice teachers for today’s classrooms. She received 2012 College of Education and Health Professions Innovative Teaching Award for her work at the University of Arkansas.

Other professional contributions include writing several articles for educational publications as well as serving as a regular columnist for the National Association for Gifted Children’s publication Teaching for High Potential. In addition to providing workshops and training both nationally and internationally in differentiating instruction, Beasley has also facilitated ASCD Professional Development Institutes across the United States focusing on Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Math and English Language/Literacy.
