Jenifer Sunrise Winter

Jenifer Sunrise Winter is an Associate Professor in the School of Communications at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and Co-Director of the Pacific Information and Communication Technology for Development Collaborative (PICTDC). Her research examines algorithmic discrimination, digital inequalities, privacy, and data governance in the context of big data and the Internet of Things. She co-edited The Future Internet: Alternative Visions and has authored dozens of works addressing emerging information policy issues.
