Janine Arantes
is a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. With over 25 years in secondary, TAFE and tertiary education, Janine explores how teachers negotiate emergent technologies through the field of AI for Education. Her research critically examines AI governance, digital poverty, automation’s impact on educator rights, and data-driven inequalities in education.
