Jamel Eddine Gharbi

Jamel-Eddine Gharbi holds a Ph.D. (1998) and an M.Sc. (1992) in Management Sciences from HEC Montréal, Canada. He is a Professor at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Management Sciences of Jendouba, University of Jendouba, Tunisia, where he has held various academic leadership roles, including Vice-President of the university (2008–2011) and Dean of the faculty (2024–2027). He is also the Director of the interdisciplinary research laboratory VPNC (Valorisation du Patrimoine Naturel et Culturel) since 2011. In addition to his academic career, Professor Gharbi served as Minister of Regional Development and Planning in Tunisia from 2011 to 2013. He was also Advisor to the President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (OIC), based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 2015 to 2016. His research and expertise focus on regional development, strategic planning, heritage valorization, and interdisciplinary approaches to socio-economic transformation in emerging contexts.
