Jagruti K. Barot
Dr.
Jagruti K. Barot
is an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Biosciences at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, India, since 2008. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Zoology in December 2011 and secured the 54th rank in the UGC-CSIR NET examination for Lectureship (LS) in June 2011. Dr. Barot has published 15 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented over 10 papers at various national and international conferences. She has successfully guided two M.Phil. students, one Ph.D. student and currently supervises three Ph.D. candidates. Additionally, she has supervised more than 40 Master’s Dissertation projects. Her academic research has been supported by a UGC-funded Minor Research Project, and she is currently working on another ongoing project. Dr. Barot is committed to advancing research in her field and fostering academic growth through her guidance of graduate and doctoral students.
