Jacque Hyatt
Jacque Hyatt
is a Technical Assistance Specialist with the National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: the Collaborative (NTACT: C). She currently works with state education and vocational rehabilitation agencies to build their capacity to develop and support collaborative cross agency transition systems at the state and local levels. She received a bachelor’s degree in Special and Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota and a master’s degree in Vocational Education Special Needs from Colorado State University where she taught courses in assessment and inclusion of students with disabilities in Career and Technical Education. Throughout her years teaching, coordinating statewide transition programs, providing technical assistance and as state director of special education in Idaho, her focus has been on ensuring transition systems at the state and local level include cross agency collaboration, parent engagement, youth leadership and work-based learning opportunities for each and every student with a disability.
