Ira Xitij Joshi
Ira Joshi
is a rising senior at the University of Illinois Springfield, where she is majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Public Health. An international student from India, she is a member of the UIS Women’s Golf Team and currently serves as the Treasurer of the International Student Association. She works as a yoga instructor and at the university’s Accessibility Center, where she supports efforts to create inclusive and accessible learning environments. For her senior year, Ira will be interning with the Illinois Innocence Project, where she looks forward to contributing to the fight against wrongful convictions. She plans to attend law school after graduation and is particularly interested in the intersections of law, justice, and social equity.
