Ilija S. Hristoski
Ilija Sotir Hristoski
earned his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from “St. Kliment Ohridski” University in Bitola, North Macedonia, in 2013. He currently serves as a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, within the same University. Dr. Hristoski teaches a variety of ICT-focused courses across all three ECTS cycles, including “Database Systems” and “Internet Technologies” at the undergraduate level, “Advanced Internet Technologies” at the Master’s level, as well as “Information Management” and “Big Data Technologies” at the doctoral level. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed scientific papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, he has written two textbooks in Macedonian: Business Informatics (2010, Faculty of Economics, Prilep) and the two-volume series Relational Databases Design, Volume 1: Conceptual and Logical Design and Volume 2: Physical Design and Implementation (2022, Faculty of Economics, Prilep). His research primarily focuses on the application of Petri Nets, Relational and NoSQL Graph-based databases, Discrete-event simulations, System Dynamics, and Systems Thinking.
