Hung Truong Thanh Nguyen
Truong-Thanh-Hung
Nguyen is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, focusing on Artificial Intelligence within the Analytics Everywhere Lab. His academic background includes an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, and a BSc in Computer Science from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Professionally, Nguyen has held positions as an AI Research Assistant at the National Research Council of Canada and an AI Engineer at FPT Software in Vietnam. His research and development efforts span aging-in-place technologies, vehicle camera-based risk detection, multi-agent reinforcement learning in logistics, battery anomaly detection, and explainable AI (XAI) toolboxes, alongside contributions to advanced chess engines and quality inspection systems.
