Hiram B. Green

Hiram Green has been a staple in the USF Community for over 40 years. He is an alumnus who returned to the University as the Assistant Athletic Director, and worked in Alumni Affairs, as the Director of Ambassador Program, and started the revenue generating programs for the USF Alumni Association. He also started an endowment for Embracing Legacy (through Revealing Truth Ministries) to provide financial support to students attending USF. He served as the Director of Development for the College of Medicine and in that capacity, he started the alumni association. He is currently the Director of Community Engagement for USF Health and Director of Public Relations for the Taneja College of Pharmacy. Part of his duties include work as a member of WE-CARE where he is a part of a team that helps promote diversity in clinical trial participation and initiatives to help close the gap in health disparities. Beyond the University, but to the University’s benefit, he has served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, ALS, and East Tampa Partnership, and still is an active board member with the Salvation Army. He also coordinated the Florida Classic for four year with the Florida Classic Association.
