Henry II Esteva Lemana
Dr.
Henry Esteva Lemana II
is a Filipino educator, researcher, and academic leader who openly identifies as queer. He is currently a full-time lecturer at the School of Languages and General Education, Walailak University in Thailand. He holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English and a Master of Arts in Education, majoring in Teaching English as a Second Language, from Notre Dame of Marbel University. He earned his Ph.D. in Education, majoring in Applied Linguistics, from the University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao City, and is presently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Management and Leadership at Sultan Kudarat State University. His research interests include applied linguistics, teacher identity, educational leadership, internationalization, AI in education, and inclusive teaching practices. A licensed professional teacher in the Philippines and a certified EFL educator in the UAE and Thailand, Dr. Lemana is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and Senior Member of the Royal Institute of Educators (Singapore). As an openly queer scholar, he advocates for inclusive, equitable, and intercultural education.
