Hemangi Narayan Narvekar
Hemangi Narayan Narvekar
is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Psychology in CHRIST (Deemed to be University). She is also a licensed Clinical Psychologist. Her research interest is Animal-assisted Therapy and she is actively working in promoting this field in India through her PhD work at CHRIST University, Bangalore. She has presented papers at 2 International and 8 national-level conferences. She is a recipient of two Best Paper Awards at National Conferences. She has authored 5 research publications in WOS/Scopus-indexed journals so far. She has three book chapter publications to her credit. She recently was awarded the Early Research Award for Integrative Medicine (2023) by Elsevier’s European Journal of Integrative Medicine. She has also been selected for the Emerging Psychologist's Programme (EPP) of the International Congress of Psychology 2024, Prague - Czech Republic.
