Hemalatha Karnan
pursued B.Tech. Bioengineering in SASTRA University during 2002-2006. She received her ME Applied Electronics degree from Anna University, BIT campus, Tiruchirappalli in the year 2012 and Ph.D. from the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Her research areas are Bio- signal processing and machine learning techniques for clinical data analysis. She has also interests in image processing and its usage in point-of-care device design. She has over 15 years of research experience. She has presented her research findings in 15 different International and 3 National Conferences. Her publications are on learning model development and optimization with publishers like CRC press, Wiley and etc. She has submitted a patent on her recent research work on the design of wearable system for geriatric care.
