Haseeb Ur Rahman
Dr.
Haseeb Rahman
is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), University of Science and Technology Bannu (USTB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, where he has served since October 2006. Currently, he is pursuing his Postdoctoral Fellowship at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, since October 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Management with a focus on Corporate Governance from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, in April 2017. He holds an M.Phil. in Finance (2013) and an MBA in Finance (2003) from Pakistan. Earlier, he completed his Diploma in Commerce (D. Com) and bachelor’s in commerce (B. Com Hons). Dr. Rahman has over 20 years of teaching and research experience at graduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to his academic roles, he served as Director of IMS for three years and as Director of the Students Start-up Business Centre (SSBC) at USTB for one year. His research interests include corporate governance, board structure and composition, gender diversity, corporate sustainability, voluntary and mandatory disclosures, circular economy, green finance, earnings management, and auditing and monitoring. He has presented numerous papers at international conferences and published over 80 peer-reviewed research articles in prestigious ABS, ABDC, and SSCI/SCI-indexed journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Business Strategy and the Environment, Sustainable Development, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Gender in Management: An International Journal, and Total Quality Management & Business Excellence. He has also contributed five book chapters published in Scopus-indexed volumes.
