Gyanesh Gupta
is an independent consultant holding a PhD in Energy and Environment from MNIT, Jaipur boasts over six years of hands-on experience in the field. Dr. Gyanesh Gupta has been a pivotal figure in fostering collaborations with various organizations and stakeholders to advocate for and facilitate the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and practices within buildings. Driven by a mission to seamlessly transition towards enhanced energy performance and diminished carbon emissions in the built environment, Dr. Gupta brings a wealth of expertise to the table. With a robust background in building energy benchmarking, data management, and analysis, Dr. Gupta has spearheaded numerous impactful projects throughout his career. Notable among these achievements include his pivotal role as a Research Analyst at CEEW, where he played a key part in the successful implementation of ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code) and thermal comfort standards in buildings. Additionally, during his tenure as a Senior Research Fellow at MNIT, Dr. Gupta developed a pioneering Energy Benchmarking Model tailored specifically for Residential Buildings in India. This groundbreaking work earned him recognition with its publication in the esteemed Energy and Buildings journal. Dr. Gupta's proficiency extends beyond theoretical expertise, encompassing practical skills in database design and management, data quality assessment and analysis, trend and pattern identification, as well as meta-data handling and manipulation. Furthermore, his technical acumen includes adeptness in technical analysis, forecasting, and programming utilizing Python. Driven by an unwavering passion for advancing energy efficiency and sustainability within the built environment, Dr. Gupta consistently endeavors to deliver high-quality research outcomes that resonate with industry partners and stakeholders alike.
