Gurushankar Krishnamoorthy
Dr.
Gurushankar Krishnamoorthy
is currently working as a Senior Researcher, Laboratory of Computational Modelling of Drugs, South Ural State University, Chelyabinsk in Russia. He also holds the position of Distinguished Adjunct Faculty at Saveetha Institute of Technical and Medical Sciences in India and serves as an Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil, Tamil Nadu, India. He has started working as the guest editor for MDPI Hydrogen special issue. Prior to joining South Ural State University, Dr. Gurushankar Krishnamoorthy was a Postdoctoral Researcher (July 2018-Oct 2018) at University of Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. Gurushankar Krishnamoorthy is the author and co-author of over 50 research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, with more than 865 citations (as of May 2024, data from Google Scholar). He has an h-index of 17 and an i10-index of 27. Gurushankar Krishnamoorthy has finished 4 students (One Ph.D., Two Undergraduate and one PG student) under his supervision. Furthermore, he has filed an Indian patent and finished three projects for the Russian Ministry of Science and Education. His research interests include the biochar phytocompounds for practical applications in supercapacitors, and biomedicine.
