Güney Gürsel
Güney Gürsel
, Associate Professor of Management Information Systems, was born in İzmir/Turkey in 1972. He graduated from Military Academy in 1994 as systems engineer. He obtained his M.S degree in 2003 in Informatics Online and his Ph.D in 2012 in Medical Informatics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara/Turkey. He performed his post doc research as a guest researcher in Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics, Braunschweig, Germany in 2018. He is working as the Head of Software Engineering Department, Food and Agriculture University, Konya, Turkey. He speaks advanced english and basic german. General research areas are; Healthcare Information Systems (HCIS), HCIS evaluation, end user expectations from HCIS, Fuzzy Logic and Interoperability, He is married and has two kids.
