Gül Gürsoy
Gül Gürsoy
holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (1993), an M.Sc. in Environmental Technologies from Bogazici University (1998), and an MBA in Marketing from Istanbul Bilgi University (2008). Rooted in a long-standing interest in photography, her academic focus gradually shifted toward visual culture, cinema history, and film analysis. After years of professional experience in international companies, she completed an MA in Film Studies at Istanbul Commerce University in 2025. Her thesis examined the historical representation and transformation of the femme fatale archetype in film noir. Her research interests include film theory, representation, gender, and contemporary cinema.
