Ghulam Abid
Ghulam Abid
is currently serving as an HR Data Scientist at Netsol Technologies, with over seven years of post-Ph.D. experience in higher education. He is an HEC-approved supervisor and a recipient of the Research Excellence Award in the faculty category from the National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E). Recently, Dr. Abid secured a prestigious grant of Rs. 5,282,200 (USD 30,000) under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a principal investigator. His research interests center on cutting-edge topics such as employee thriving and positive organizational scholarship. He has made significant contributions to the academic field, with more than 150 research papers published in journals indexed by the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus, along with presentations at 20 renowned research conferences, including those organized by the Academy of Management (AOM), Southern Management Association (SMA), and International Leadership Association (ILA). Dr. Abid has authored or co-authored publications in WoS-indexed journals, achieving a cumulative impact factor exceeding 130. In recognition of his expertise, he serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for over 25 impact factor journals and as an editor for Frontiers in Psychology. He has been distinguished with the Best Paper Award at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and his work has been nominated for the Best Conference Paper Award at the AOM Conference. Moreover, Dr. Abid has demonstrated leadership in his field through his extensive contributions to workshops and training sessions for organizations such as GIZ, TEVTA, and QAED, as well as by serving as a session chair at several prestigious international conferences.
