George Perera
George Perera
has obtained his doctoral degree in the Division of Curriculum and Teaching from the School of Education, Fordham University, New York City in 2008. The dissertation title was, “How computer-related technology is incorporated into instructional methods and objectives in secondary school classroom”. He has completed Master of Science majoring in Adult Education & Human Resource Development with TESOL at the School of Education, Fordham University, New York City in 2002. He has obtained three degrees as Bachelor of Arts from University of Kelaniya, Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Philosophy form Urban University of Rome. He has experience for over 25 years in the education field and presented research and conducted workshops in local and international research forums. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, International Honor Society, International Society for Technology in Education and American Educational Research Association. He has been serving in different positions in Sri Lankan education centers for many international universities as research supervisor and consultant, head of academic affairs and serving in research ethics committee. Currently, Dr. George is the Head of Education Faculty and senior lecturer at BCI Campus as well as research supervisor for some international universities.
