Gabriel Wasswa
Gabriel Wasswa
currently holds the position of Business & Economics Tutor and is the Module Leader for the Economics module at Kaplan International College London. As a distinguished Commonwealth Scholar, Dr. Wasswa earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Nottingham, with a research focus on the impact of maternal employment on child health outcomes. He achieved a distinction in his M.A. in Economics from Makerere University, Uganda, and holds a first-class honors degree in B.A., majoring in Economics, from the same institution. With over 15 years of teaching experience in higher education, Dr. Wasswa has held significant roles, including Graduate Teaching Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nottingham. He has also served as an Assistant Lecturer at Makerere University, School of Economics, and as an Accounting Tutor at Nkozi National Teachers' Education Kyambogo (now Kyambogo University) both of which are in Uganda. Dr. Wasswa's extensive teaching expertise spans ordinary and advanced levels (‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels) in both Economics and Accounting.
