Firdous Ahmad Malik

Firdous Ahmad Malik graduated with a Ph.D. degree from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow, India. He holds an MPhil degree in Economics from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Kashmir. His research area of interest is microfinance, financial inclusion, and financial literacy. He has published more than 20 papers in Springer, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and other Scopus-indexed journals. He has published his latest book with a springer, “Financial Inclusion Schemes in India.” Notion Press published his second book on “Financial Behavior of Urban Destitutes in India”. His third book, “Asymmetry of Information and Lending Risk: Livelihood Patterns of Street Vendors in India,” was published by Booksclinic. Shineeks published his fourth book, “Health System in Jammu and Kashmir: Challenges and Opportunities.” His fourth book, “Repatriation Management and Competency Transfer in a Culturally Dynamic World,” is under contract with Springer. Prior to joining NIPFP he has worked with the Jindal Center for the Global South at O.P. Jindal Global University in Sonipat, Haryana.
