Fiona Barlow-Brown

Fiona Barlow-Brown is a developmental psychologist with research interests which cover aspects of developmental, cognitive and social psychology. Her expertise primarily lies in the development of blind children and a variety of aspects of reading development in young children. Currently she is working on projects looking at: Braille reading in beginning blind readers and braille reading difficulties in this population Letter reversals in young sighted children Social and Academic inclusion in visually impaired and blind adolescents Socio-emotional support for university students with vision impairment Early maths skills and the ANR in young blind children
