Filipe Sampaio Rodrigues
, PhD is an academic at the University of Maia (U. Maia) in Portugal and a researcher in innovation, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He earned his PhD in Management from Lancaster University (UK) and has pursued academic work in the UK, Finland, Chile, and China. His research explores digital market transformations, consumer behavior, omnichannel strategies, and entrepreneurship. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributes to interdisciplinary, impact-driven projects. Outside academia, he has served as a consultant in marketing and strategy in the agri-food sector and co-founded internationally recognized brands. He actively participates in advisory and scientific boards. Since October 2021, Filipe has also served as independent councilor (vereador) in the Porto City Council, where he contributes to municipal deliberations.
