Faroque Ahmed
Faroque Ahmed
is a PhD fellow at the Graduate School of Economics and Management (GSEM) in the Ural Federal University (UrFU), Yekaterinburg, Russia. In his PhD journey, he is working on the dynamic impact of economic and geopolitical uncertainties on financial stress of G-20 countries. He has also been serving as a Senior Research Associate at the Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM), the University of Dhaka (affiliated), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his Masters of Science in ‘Statistics’ from the Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. His area of research mainly focuses on financial economics, growth and development, energy and environment and the application of machine learning methods in these fields of research. Mr. Ahmed has published 15 research articles in different peer-reviewed journals by this time. In addition, to his credit, he presented 8 conference papers at various international conferences. He has good command in statistical analysis using various programming languages and software’s, i.e., R, Python, STATA, EVIEWS, MATLAB, SPSS, and EXCEL. He has experience in teaching training courses, i.e., Data analysis in R and Python, Hands on training using STATA, Research Methodology, and Policy Analysis Course.
