Ezgi Güney
Ezgi Güney
was born in Sinop in 1982. She received her B.Sc. degree from Gazi University in 2005 and her M.Sc. degree from Karadeniz Technical University in 2011. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ondokuz Mayis University in 2022. She has been working at Sinop University since December 2008 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Energy. She is also the Vice Director of the Sinop University Vocational School. Her main research interests include Electrical Energy and Power Systems, Electrical Machines, High Voltage Engineering, and the development of environmentally friendly insulation technologies. She has authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers and has been involved in both national and international research projects. She actively collaborates with industry, providing academic consultancy on R&D projects, particularly in the fields of high voltage systems and green technologies. I Apart from her research activities, she is engaged in curriculum development, supervises undergraduate student projects, and takes part in educational outreach and scientific communication events.
