Esin Selin Karaöz
Esin Selin Karaoz
holds a double major in Visual Communication Design and New Media from Beykent University. She completed her master’s thesis titled “The Impact of Narrative in Mobile Games on the Gaming Experience” in the New Media and Communication Management program at Istanbul University. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in the Department of Communication Studies at Kadir Has University, focusing on online games and intercultural communication. She works as a Research Assistant in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Bilgi University. She has various academic publications on game culture, game narrative and digital communication. Her research examines digital game and online communities, toxicity, and cultural representations through netnographic and qualitative methods. Her academic interests include game studies, cultural studies, intercultural communication, and new media.
