Eshtiaq Abdulaziz Al Faraj

Dr. Eshtiaq AlFaraj is a faculty member and nurse consultant at the College of Nursing. Her extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education and academic accreditation is a testament to her commitment and expertise. She was awarded the British Council's Chevening Scholarship and a scholarship from King Faisal University to pursue an MSc in Management of Training and Development at the University of Edinburgh, clearly indicating her academic prowess. In 2008, she earned a Ph.D. in Nursing Education from the University of Surrey, further solidifying her position as a thought leader in the field. Dr. AlFaraj has served two terms on the Saudi Scientific Nursing Board at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and is an active Programmatic Surveyor for SCFHS postgraduate Advanced Nursing Diplomas and Medical Training/Fellowship programs. She is a certified external reviewer by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA). Her contributions at IAU include her roles as a faculty in academic programs and as a member of the Program and Institutional Accreditations Strandrd and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) committees, as well as a Diabetes Educator in the Family and Community Center. Additionally, she published scholarly papers in peer-reviewed journals, furthering the body of knowledge in Nursing.
