Emrah Koparan
Emrah Koparan
is an Associate Professor at Amasya University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Aviation Management. He completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration at Karadeniz Technical University in 2014 with a dissertation focusing on the effects of national culture on corporate social responsibility activities. Holding additional master’s degrees in Gender Studies and Management-Organization, Dr. Koparan’s research interests lie at the intersection of institutional theory, organizational behavior, social responsibility, gender and leadership studies, and the legitimacy of environmental sustainability practices in industries such as aviation. He has published extensively in both national and international journals and contributed to various scientific book chapters. Dr. Koparan has also taken part in numerous research projects and held several administrative roles in higher education institutions. His recent works focus on women in family businesses, gender-based inequalities, and greenwashing in corporate communication.
