Elisha Ondieki Makori

Elisha Ondieki Makori (PhD) teaches Information Science and Technology at the University of Nairobi (UoN) in addition to being a dedicated Researcher and Data Analyst. Holder of a PhD in Information Science from Moi University, with research passion and interests in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Informatics, Management Information Systems, ICT and Digital Innovations. Have valuable academic teaching and research experience across universities and institutions - Universities of Nairobi, Moi, Kenyatta, Egerton, Technical, Laikipia, Kisii, Karatina and South Africa. Passionate about mentorship and guidance, with participation in sustainable development and transformation programmes in climate adaptation, agriculture, health, education and the digital economy. Makori has over two decades of career expertise and experience in public and private organizations. He has participated in numerous research projects and published articles in International Journals and Books. Additionally, he serves on the Reviewers Board for Human-Computer Interaction at the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and active member of the organization.
