Eirini Karakasidou

Eirini Karakasidou serves as an Assistant Professor of Counselling Psychology at the Department of Psychology within Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. With a strong academic background, she completed her postgraduate studies with a specialization in Sport Psychology. Concurrently, she dedicated four years to training in Existential Psychotherapy and an additional two years in mastering Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety Disorders. Her multifaceted research interests encompass Counselling Psychology, Positive Psychology, Sport Psychology, Psychometrics, and Psychotherapy. Eirini has actively contributed as a principal investigator and coordinator in various European funded projects, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field. Eirini Karakasidou is a prolific author, with publications including articles in peer-reviewed journals and insightful book chapters. Her expertise extends beyond academia, as she has delivered numerous presentations and experiential workshops at Greek and international conferences, NGOs, schools, businesses, and hospitals. In addition to her academic pursuits, Eirini practices as a psychologist and psychotherapist in both individual and group settings in private practice. She shares her knowledge and experience by teaching at various educational institutions in Greece and abroad. Furthermore, she serves as a lecturer in specialized seminars tailored for diverse audiences, contributing to the broader dissemination of psychological insights.
