Eduardo Javier Guzmán Lazón

Eduardo Guzmán Lazón is an Agricultural Engineer with a specialization in Environmental Management, a Master's degree in Natural Resources, and a Specialist in Science Education. Since 2022, he has served as a faculty member in teacher education at the University of Chile, supporting pedagogical processes in science didactics. He has an outstanding track record leading science education programs in both formal and non-formal contexts, promoting the development of scientific competencies in students and teachers. He has worked with institutions such as Fundación Ciencia Joven, the Explora Program, and universities including PUC, PUCV, and UDD, coordinating initiatives in teacher training, innovation, and science outreach. His main areas of work focus on school-based scientific inquiry, environmental education, and the design of interdisciplinary learning experiences centered on science teaching. He has also presented at national and international conferences and has published research related to science learning in diverse educational settings.
