Edmund Christopher Melville
Edmund Christopher Melville
, born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in the Gyaneese tradition, has almost two decades of expertise in education and leadership. Currently, he serves as a teacher educator and curriculum developer. Edmund has excelled in various roles, such as Director of Teacher Residency at Touro Graduate School of Education in NYC, School Director, Assistant Professor in Iraq, and Assistant Principal in Turkey. His teaching spans prekindergarten to graduate studies, specializing in English Language Learning and Special Education. His passion lies in inclusive education. He holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Sussex (Brighton, UK) and dual master’s degrees from Mercy College, along with two bachelor’s degrees. Dr. Melville is dually certified in general and special education in New York State and is a qualified educator in England and Wales.
