Durga Madhab Mahapatra
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. With a distinguished academic career spanning over two decades, Dr. Mahapatra has made significant contributions to the fields of Management and E-Commerce has developed a strong research portfolio that bridges theory and practice, particularly in the areas of marketing management, consumer behavior, rural entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Dr. Mahapatra is widely recognized for his interdisciplinary approach and has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His current research interests include digital transformation in commerce, tribal entrepreneurship, inclusive business models, and the socio-economic dynamics of the North-Eastern region of India. He has also actively participated in national conferences and UGC-sponsored seminars and has contributed chapters to edited volumes on contemporary issues in Management, E-commerce and E-Learning.
