Doaa Salem
I am an architect with over 20 years of experience in the field. I was born in Cairo in 1981 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Zamalek, Helwan University, in 2002. I furthered my education by obtaining my Master's degree in Fine Arts in 2009 and completed my PhD in 2014, focusing on “Approach to Set Design Criteria of Environmental Impact on the Values of Contemporary Egyptian Architecture.” In addition to my professional experience, I have been teaching in the Architecture and Interior Design programs for over five years at both public universities, such as Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and private institutions like Dar Al-Hekma University and Al-Ain Colleges. This role has allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for design with students while helping to shape the next generation of architects. I have also actively participated in various committees related to operational planning, quality assurance, and e-learning. These experiences have strengthened my skills in leadership and collaboration, as well as my commitment to fostering an enriching educational environment. Throughout my career, I have worked with several prestigious consulting firms, including Dar Al Handasa, ECG, AMG, and EHAF. My experience encompasses a wide range of projects, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of architectural design and its impact on the environment and society. I am passionate about integrating sustainable practices into my work and continually seek innovative solutions to complex design challenges. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams to bring creative visions to life.
