Dipanjan Sujit Roy
Dipanjan Roy
is a senior public health professional, academician, and implementation expert with three decades of experience. He is a medical doctor with advanced degrees in internal medicine, public health and HIV medicine. He has more than 25 years of international experience spanning over three continents, Asia, Africa and Europe. He has worked in WHO, US CDC, UNAIDS, UNICEF, IIHMR, Delhi and international NGOs as well as government of India. He served as the focal point for resilient and sustainable systems in health, technical review panel, the Global Fund for AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria and currently serves as senior advisor for UNAIDS RST, Bangkok and a visiting professor of Global Health, Jodhpur School of Public Health. He is the former director of IIHMR, Delhi and CEO LEHS/ WISH Foundation India. He currently also serves as one of the directors for SRCMF and Regional Director Public Health, Dure Technologies. He has several publications to his credit and has authored couple of books. He was awarded the “Global Health Achievement - India” award by US CDC for his contributions towards leadership in developing and adopting Global public health policies in developing countries in 2009 and Excellence in Global Public Health Practice by Jodhpur School of Public Health in 2019.
