Dimitrios Valsamaras

Dimitrios Valsamaras is a computer science educator and researcher based in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Assessment in Education and Lifelong Learning from the University of Western Macedonia, as well as a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Media, with a focus on Communication and Culture, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Technology and Communication from the University of the Aegean. His academic background bridges digital media, cultural communication, and educational technology, fostering a rich interdisciplinary perspective. Dimitris currently teaches ICT in Greek primary schools and adult education, with a focus on digital citizenship, project-based learning, and the development of 21st-century skills. He is actively involved in curriculum design, creative multimedia instruction, and action research aimed at promoting digital literacy, responsible technology use, and experiential learning across educational levels.
