Dicky Budiman
, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized global health security and pandemic preparedness expert, with more than 20 years of experience in infectious disease control, epidemiology, and public health strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in Global Health Security from Griffith University, Australia, where his research focused on health system resilience and pandemic risk governance. As a medical doctor and public health specialist, Dr. Budiman has advised governments, global institutions, and multilateral organizations including the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, and the Indonesian Ministry of Health on epidemic response strategies and health system strengthening. Dr. Budiman has an active scientific portfolio as a principal investigator and co-author in numerous peer-reviewed publications, particularly in the areas of pandemic preparedness, risk communication, and the social dimensions of health crises. His scholarly work bridges empirical research and policy formulation, with publications featured in high-impact international journals and conference proceedings. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker and panel expert in global health summits, and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals in the fields of public health and infectious diseases.
