Derrick Robinson
Derrick Robinson
, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Culturally Responsive Pedagogy in the Educator Preparation Department at the North Carolina A&T State University. He received his B.A from Morehouse College, an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a Masters of Educational Leadership from Wingate University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Urban Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Robinson has 22 years of teaching and leadership experience in urban schools from Prince George’s County, MD, Washington D.C., and Charlotte, NC. Dr. Robinson’s research examines the contextual nature of school climate and culture, leadership efficacy, and teacher efficacy in urban settings.
