Demian Abrego-Almazan
Demian Abrego-Almazán
holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Sciences from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (UAT), has been a member of PRODEP and a certified professor in Administrative Informatics by ANFECA since 2004. Since 2017, he has been a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). Currently, he belongs to the consolidated academic body “Information Technology and Strategy” (UAT-CA-132). As a full-time professor at the Faculty of Commerce and Administration Victoria, he teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, actively participating in curricular reforms. During this time, he has provided tutoring and academic counseling. In 2019, he was named “Outstanding Professor” by the university in recognition of his career and achievements. Regarding scientific dissemination, he has published articles in high-impact journals, books, and peer-reviewed book chapters, focusing on information technology and management. He has also developed various research projects and technical reports, participating in national and international conferences. Additionally, he has registered 18 copyrights in the area of computer programs for the development of information systems. In human capital development, he has delivered diplomas, workshops, and conferences and has supervised undergraduate, master's, and doctoral theses. Some of these theses have received awards for their quality, and several of his students have joined the SNI. He has also collaborated with other academic bodies in research networks and served as an evaluator for various institutions such as CONACYT, PRODEP, and other research projects. Furthermore, he has participated as an external evaluator for journals, conferences, and teaching evaluation programs. He has also served as an external auditor for the electoral system of the State of Tamaulipas.
