Deepak Khazanchi

Deepak Khazanchi is Professor of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) College of Information Science & Technology (IS&T). Prior to becoming Associate Dean, he served as Chair of the Information Systems & Quantitative Analysis department in the College of IS&T and is also an affiliated faculty in UNO's International Studies & Programs. Deepak received the Ph.D. degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University, an MBA degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur (India). Deepak is also an adjunct full professor with the Center for Integrated Emergency Management (CIEM) at the University of Agder (Norway). He has also served as a visiting Information Systems faculty for the University of Agder (UiA) in Kristiansand, Norway. Dr. Khazanchi's research and consulting interests are primarily focused in the areas of technology empowered language learning, virtual project management, retention of global IT talent, information technology capabilities and B2B assurance services/risk analysis in extended enterprise environments. Deepak’s research has been published in a number of prestigious peer-reviewed journals and he has made presentations in a number of national and international conferences.
