Deepa Kumar
K. Deepa
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with 17 years of academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. from Bharathiar University, and her research interests span Digital Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Data Science. She has published extensively in reputed journals and conferences, including IEEE Xplore and the International Journal of Image and Video Processing. Her key works focus on applications of machine learning in medical imaging, such as cancer diagnosis and COVID-19 detection. Dr. Deepa is also the recipient of the International Researcher Award (2020–2021) from the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR). Additionally, she has authored the book Artificial Intelligence: Principles and Concepts, published by Alpha International Publications (AIP). She actively contributes to research in image processing, developing advanced algorithms for medical diagnostics and privacy-preserving data retrieval. She has participated in numerous conferences and also presented papers in several conferences.
