Daniel Tomiuk
Daniel Tomiuk
is a tenured professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), Canada, specializing in e-commerce, e-learning, online sales strategies, serious games and user behaviour, social media in collaborative work, and online service recovery. He obtained his PhD from McGill University (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) in 2005. He worked in the A&M university system (Texas) as an assistant professor and has taught at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China) as a visiting professor. He has received multiple best paper awards and has been published in renowned journals such as Information & Management. He was recently involved in an SSHRC-funded project focused on building an online community of practice to foster improved networking and knowledge exchange for women in STEM.
