Daniel Sánchez-García
Daniel Sánchez-García
holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Seville, specializing in the field of thermal comfort, energy efficiency, and climate change. He is the only author and developer of the software tool “accim,” developed in the Python programming language, for which he was awarded the CIBSE Building Simulation Award 2022. He has co-authored over 25 publications indexed in Scopus, with more than 15 articles in high-impact journals in the first quartile. His research has primarily focused on reconciling thermal comfort and energy efficiency in buildings, which he has proposed through the use of setpoint temperatures based on adaptive thermal comfort models.
