Damith Sanjaya Kumara Gangodawilage
Damith Gangodawilage
is a practicing scholar and professional with extensive experience in finance and accounting, business management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He served as the Deputy Dean at the Qasim Ibrahim School of Business (QISB) at Villa College, Maldives, he has consistently demonstrated leadership in fostering academic excellence and industry engagement. Damith was also the Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED), where he spearheads initiatives such as the VIgnite Business Incubator, driving innovation among youth in the Maldives. With a strong academic foundation, Damith has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and curriculum development. His expertise spans strategic areas such as design thinking, sustainable business practices, and digital transformation. An active researcher, he has authored numerous studies and presentations on topics like corporate sustainability and tax compliance behavior, establishing himself as a thought leader. Dr. Damith is a dedicated mentor and educator, passionately committed to equipping students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
