D. Renuka Devi
Renuka Devi D
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Stella Maris College (Autonomous), Chennai, India. With extensive academic and research experience, she specializes in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Madras, where her research focused on computational intelligence. She has published widely in reputed journals and international conferences indexed by IEEE, Springer, Scopus, and Web of Science. Her innovations are protected by several granted patents in areas such as virtual network security, sentiment analysis, AI-powered applications, and assistive technologies. She is the author of the book Research Practitioner’s Handbook on Big Data Analytics, published by Apple Academic Press, CRC Press, USA. Her work has earned her multiple Best Paper Awards and the Best Researcher Award. She is an active peer reviewer for high-impact journals, an editorial board member of the Journal of Advances in Management Sciences & Information Systems, and affiliated with professional bodies like ICSES and IAENG. She has also served as a technical program committee member and session chair for various international conferences. She was invited to represent India in a global academic roundtable, where she contributed insights on the role of AI in higher education. Her applied research spans AI-based intrusion detection frameworks, ensemble deep learning models for sentiment analysis, interactive AI web and voice applications, and smart assistive devices for the visually impaired, incorporating IoT and GPS technologies. She collaborates with industry experts, government agencies, and academic institutions to bridge the gap between research and real-world applications. As a passionate educator and mentor, she encourages interdisciplinary innovation and nurtures the next generation of researchers and technologists.
