Curtis D. Westersund
Curtis Westersund
earned his DDS from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta in 1979. He has practiced as a general dentist in the city of Calgary, in the province Alberta Canada for the past 40 years. His practice is focused on the treatment of Temporo-Mandibular Disorders (TMD), with a physiologic approach to diagnosis and treatment. He holds a Mastership with the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO). In addition, Dr. Westersund has been published in The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice, presenting a clinical trial on the effects that postural alignment has on the dental occlusion. He has also published in 2 books about using physiologic protocols in the treatment of TMD. Dr. Westersund is a trainer and lecturer for the T-Scan 10 digital occlusal analysis system. And finally, Dr. Westersund lectures on the treatment of TMD/Chronic Pain using physiologic and neuromuscular principles that include the use of the T-Scan, throughout the United States, Russia, Europe, Japan, India, Brazil and Canada. He also lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, using the Zephyr MATRx system.
