Cristina A. Huertas-Abril
Cristina A. Huertas-Abril
is an Associate Professor of the Departament of English and German Philologies and works in the Faculty of Education at the University of Córdoba (Spain). Her research interests include Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Bilingual Education, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and teacher training. She has participated in several national and international research projects, and published numerous scientific articles in prestigious journals. Dr Huertas-Abril teaches at Master’s level at the UCO and UCA (Spain) and at the Ateneum-University in Gdansk (Poland), has taught both in formal and non-formal contents, and has directed and taught several specialization courses on Bilingual Education, Translation Studies, and Second Language Acquisition. She has presented many papers at different (inter)national conferences around the world like Spain, Germany, Poland, France, Turkey and Bahrein, among others. Moreover, she has had international academic stays in Chile and in the US. She is a member of the Research Group ‘Research in Bilingual and Intercultural Education’ (HUM-1006), and the co-founder of the Ibero-American Research Network on Bilingual and Intercultural Education (IBIE).
