Christoforos Mamas
is a former elementary school teacher and currently serves as an associate professor specializing in Transforming Special Education within the Department of Education Studies at the University of California, San Diego. His research primarily focuses on examining the relational inclusivity of students with special educational needs and disabilities in mainstream educational environments. He also possesses methodological expertise in social network analysis and mixed methods. Additionally, he conducts equity-oriented research that has immediate practical applications, bridging the gap between research and practice.
